While not everyone is into designer kitchens or tricked-out media rooms, beautiful bathrooms are the kind of eye candy most of us can appreciate on some level. Thus, we dug through the listings to find the 10 most beautiful baths on the market right now. Naturally, these fancy washrooms are located in some pretty pricey pads. Case in point, West Yarmouth's most expensive offering, a $13,999,000 "Majestic Great Island Beachfront Estate," has a jaw-dropping master bath (↑) with room for a few dozen micro homes. Plus, if the panoramic ocean views from this incredible space get dull, there's a handy TV on the wall.
(↑↓)When we first wrote about this Truro contemporary, not everyone agreed with our swooning over the compound's "Frank Lloyd Wright-influenced design." Whatever you think of the landlocked three-bedroom overall, the master suite's "gorgeous new bathroom with soaking tub" is a looker. Asking price for the "exceptional estate in a magical setting" is $3,999,000.
In Woods Hole, this "stunning residence sits on the shores of Vineyard Sound" and has a, well, stunning master bath (↑). The 1.88 acre former PriceSpotter hit the market in July 2014 for $8,399,000, but is now hoping for $6,900,000.
The listing bills this Osterville 7BR, 5.5BA (↑) as "the ideal blend of architectural elegance and functionality." Indeed, the Oyster Harbors manse with its rather lovely master bath is pretty posh and has a $5,900,000 price tag to match.
For $4,250,000 in East Orleans, here's an "extensively renovated" four-bedroom on The River. Per the listing, the waterfront spread's "new master suite is a stunner." Agreed, that roomy shower (↑) does get a thumbs up.
Sticking around Orleans, here's a 6BR, 5BA on Nauset Harbor with "fabulous panoramic sunset views from the Town Cove to Fort Hill, Nauset Inlet, Nauset Lighthouse, Nauset Beach & the Ocean!" We don't know which of those the master bath (↑) is facing, but it certainly looks worthy of the multimillion dollar ask. That said, after hitting the market in late April for $4,995,000, the 5,000-square-foot house took a July meeting with the PriceChopper and is now hoping for $3,995,000.
Back to Truro, here's another family compound and another $3,995,000 asking price. While the master bath (↑) of this "extraordinary waterfront estate" doesn't offer "commanding views of Cape Cod Bay and the entire sweep of Cape Cod" like most of the other rooms, the space is still a knock-out.
"Experience unparalleled grandeur, luxury and elegance in this one-of-a-kind classic home, located on the waterfront in the East End of Provincetown." So begins the brokerbabble for this former PriceSpotter, a 4BR, 4.5BA asking $3,495,000. The master suite takes up the entire third floor and features two bathrooms with custom tile work, including (↑) "one with an amazing marble soaking tub."
Sticking around Provincetown, here's a circa 1820 Cape with a very of the moment bathroom with shower handles galore (↑). The gorgeous property first hit the market in July 2014 for $2,945,000, was chopped in September to $2,725,000, and can now be yours for $2,495,000.
Finally, here's a three-bedroom on the Centerville River combining "whimsical beach house features with craftsmanship and versatility." The former PriceSpotter features three bathrooms, including one (↑) with a huge shower, pebble floor, and "outstanding water views." Asking price is $1,300,000.
